Sandy Road Vineyards 2021 Good as Gone

Sandy Road Vineyards is proud to announce that our 2021 Good as Gone wine has won a Platinum Medal at the 2023 TEXSOM Awards. The TEXSOM Awards is one of the most prestigious and challenging wine competitions in the United States, and this award is a testament to our continued focus on producing high quality Texas wine.

2023 TEXSOM Platinum Medal

The Good as Gone wine is a dry red blend of Sangiovese, Mourvedre and Merlot from the Texas High Plains. It is a medium-bodied wine with rich flavors of red fruit, oak, and spice. The wine is floral and savory with light tannins and a balanced finish.

This award is a great honor for Sandy Road Vineyards, and we are proud to represent Texas wine on this stage. We are grateful to the TEXSOM Awards for recognizing our hard work, and we look forward to continuing to produce award-winning wines.

In addition to the Good as Gone wine, our 2020 Estate Sangiovese won a Bronze Medal, but unfortunately it is already sold out.

We are proud of all of our wines, and we are grateful to the TEXSOM Awards for recognizing the quality of our work. We are committed to producing the best possible wines, and we are excited to see what the future holds for Sandy Road Vineyards.
