📍 Location: Johnson City, Texas | Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | Compensation: Competitive hourly + tips

Are you passionate about wine, people, and Texas hospitality? Do you light up a room with your personality and love connecting with others over a great glass of wine? Sandy Road Vineyards is looking for a Tasting Room Ambassador to join our team and help us share our story, our wines, and our vision with every guest who visits our estate.

We are a small, family-owned winery growing 100% Texas wine on our family's Texas Hill Country property. Our team is passionate, hardworking, and focused on creating exceptional experiences that turn first-time guests into lifelong wine club members.

🍷 What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests with warmth and genuine hospitality, making them feel at home from the moment they arrive

• Lead engaging, educational, and fun wine tastings that highlight our wines, vineyard, and winemaking philosophy

• Share the story of our family, our vineyard, and the Texas wine industry with authenticity and pride

• Help grow our wine club by connecting with guests and inviting them into our extended wine family

• Assist with opening and closing duties, tastings, events, inventory, and keeping the tasting spaces clean and welcoming

• Work occasional winery events, release parties, and private tastings in our Treehouse and Pavilion

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• A magnetic, upbeat personality with exceptional people skills

• Experience in a Texas winery tasting room or similar hospitality environment

• A true love and knowledge of Texas wine, or a willingness to learn quickly

• Confident in speaking with small groups and building personal connections

• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, wine club platforms, and email

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine!)

• Must be 21 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.

• Available to work weekends and some holidays

⭐ Bonus if you:

• Are Food Handlers, TABC certified (or willing to become certified)

• Have wine education or certifications (WSET, CMS, etc.)

• Have experience with winery events, food and wine pairings, or social media content
